When we learned that Kit's Treehouse is sold out, we decided to create our own version, with some notable improvements.
Our treehouse design is spacious, allowing room inside the house for our cafe and chairs (see listing). What good is a treehouse if all you can do is stand in it, right? One of our Adirondack Lawn Chairs and a side table would also fit inside the treehouse (see other listings). Treehouse is approximately 23½ inches wide by 34 inches deep (with deck) by 28 inches tall. With the Treehouse Stand (sold separately), the total height is 47½ inches.
Treehouse is built of cedar (except for front shutter, which is painted pine) and varnished. This playset is designed for outdoor use. However, we recommend using a grill cover or similar cover if you plan to keep the treehouse outdoors all of the time. Treehouse can also be built of pine and painted for a cottage look (shown below).
Side shutters with curtains open all the way, allowing easy access to the inside of the treehouse. Front wooden shutter is painted (exterior paint) for an extra splash of color. (Choose any fabric or paint color.) Shutters stay shut with cute little antique brass latches (not shown on these photos; check back in a few days).
The treehouse comes fully assembled, and the deck attaches with exterior deck screws (simple assembly). The Treehouse Stand (sold separately) also requires simple assembly.
We also offer "a la carte" items for our treehouse, including adirondack lawn/deck chairs (also available in chaise style) with beverage table, two-doll swing (can be hooked under the deck or on a swing stand), and a slide. Please see our Outdoor Doll Furniture section for more details.
ABOUT SHIPPING:
This playset will take about a week to build and varnish/finish. It will ship via UPS Ground in two separate boxes (and require some simple assembly). Stand will also ship separately ($20). International buyers and non-mainland states, please contact us for a shipping quote.
These are large boxes, which result in higher shipping costs. Each box will also require special packaging materials to insure a safe delivery. Due to the extremely high cost of shipping on this item, we were forced to raise our price. Actual shipping cost is twice what we currently charge, not including boxes, bubble wrap, and styrofoam. There is a discount available for local pick up, if you live in the Phoenix area. Please contact us for more information.
